Packing paper or bubble wrap?
Plain packing paper does most of the job — wrapping dishes and filling gaps — and doesn't leave ink on things the way newspaper does.
Save bubble wrap for the truly fragile: glass, electronics, framed art.
Towels, linens and clothes make free padding and get packed at the same time.
