Terms and refunds

Last updated 18 October 2026.

The short version. The app runs on your device and your move is yours. Pay once and it is unlocked forever. If it isn't what you wanted, ask within 30 days and you get your money back. We can't promise your move will go well — only that the software will do what this page says it does.

Who this is between

"The Packed Rabbit", "we" and "us" mean the owner of packedrabbit.com. "You" means the person using the app. Using the app means you accept these terms.

What you get

A license to use the app for your own moves, on any device you own, for as long as it keeps working. Not ownership of the software itself.

Refunds

Thirty days, no reason needed. Email hello@packedrabbit.com from the address you paid with and say you'd like a refund. We'll send it back to the card you used, usually within a few days, and the code stops working.

After thirty days we'll still read the email and still try to help, but the refund is at our discretion.

If you bought through Apple or Google rather than this website, their refund process applies instead of ours, because they took the payment and we never see the card.

Your information

We don't have your move. The app keeps everything on your own device and needs no account. The only things we ever receive are an email address you choose to give us for updates, and a record of a payment. The privacy policy explains this properly.

That cuts both ways: we cannot recover anything for you. If your phone is lost, broken or wiped, and you have not made your own backup, the move is gone and there is nothing we can do about it. The app can export a backup file at any time, and will remind you to. Please do it.

What the app is not

It is a tool for organising a move. It is not legal, financial, insurance or medical advice, and nobody here is a lawyer, broker or doctor.

It helps you check a mover's licensing, read a quote, understand a bill of lading and keep your claim deadlines, using publicly available federal guidance. It does not vet movers, and we are not party to any contract between you and one.

Measurements, cubic feet, weights and truck sizes are estimates calculated from what you type in. They are a good deal better than guessing. They are not a survey, and a mover's own estimate is the one you are contractually dealing with.

What we promise, and what we don't

We'll keep it working and fix what breaks. We can't promise it will never have a fault, never lose data to a browser or phone problem outside our control, or be available without interruption.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything connected to the app is limited to what you paid us for it. We are not liable for lost or damaged belongings, a mover's conduct, a missed deadline, or anything else about your actual move — those are between you, your mover and your insurer.

Some places don't allow those limits to be excluded. Where that's true, they don't apply to you.

Fair use

Don't use it to break the law, don't try to break into it, and don't resell it or pass off the code as your own product. If you do, the licence ends.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes and the new version appears here. A change never takes away something you've already paid for.

Ending it

Stop using it whenever you like — delete the app and that is the end of it. We can end the licence if these terms are broken, and we'll say why.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the state where the business is registered, and disputes go to the courts there. Nothing here takes away rights your own local consumer law gives you.

These terms describe how the product actually works and what it is honestly promising. They are not legal advice, they were not written by a lawyer, and the governing-law section above needs a real state name in it. Have a lawyer read this before anything is sold.
