How much should I tip movers?
Tipping is optional, but customary — very few people never tip.
A common guide is $20–50 per mover for a day's work on a local move, and $50–100 per mover per day on a long-distance one. By the hour, $4–15 per mover. Some people tip 10–20% of the bill instead.
Food and drinks are kind, but they don't replace the tip.
